Billing Clerk

Choices in Community Living provides professional direct care services for individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the administration of billing system, data entry into the State Billing System (CPT), reconciliation of billings to receipts. Tracking of utilization for all billed services and any other billing/fiscal duties assigned by the Billing Administrator or CFO.

Relevant Experience and Requirements:

Experience and/or training in the essential functions of Peachtree or other accounting software. Position requires excellent communication skills including reading, writing, oral and competency in complex mathematics. Position requires strong problem solving skills and resourcefulness. Position requires strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office Programs and experience in the operation and maintenance of common office equipment.

Position requires positive behaviors to staff, agency associations and co-workers. Position will have a set weekly schedule with assigned weekly tasks. Approximately 20-24 hours per week. Attention to detail is a must and the ability to research and solve problems must be demonstrated.

Pay Rate:

Position will be paid hourly with a starting rate of $14.00 per hour and is based on experience.
