Day Hab Lead Staff

Choices in Community Living provides professional direct care services for individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities. You will be working at Our Safe Haven Farms location and will be providing direct services to individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities including assisting with exercising and equipment, assisting with swimming, various outside activities including barn work with animals and gardening, fitness classes, passing medications, going on outings, transporting, assisting with toileting needs as needed and other various tasks.

We are looking for Caring, Compassionate applicants that are detail oriented, who also share a passion for providing the best services possible to the individuals we serve.

Applicant must be able to handle high stress environments, along with the possibility of lifting excess of 50 pounds or more and being on their feet for multiple hours. Must also be comfortable working with and handling behavioral issues. Applicant must also be okay with working on a "Farm Type" setting. There are animals at this location including Alpaca's, miniature horses, etc. Clients are active in their local farmers markets and sell the fruits and veggies they grow, applicant will be required to attend these with the clients and engage with the activity.

Applicant must also be able to pass a physical & drug screen as well as a Background Check.

Applicants are required to have:

• Valid Driver's License with less than 6 points
• Valid Vehicle Insurance
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

We have a Full Time Lead Staff position open in our Day - Hab Center that needs immediate coverage!

We offer Sign on Bonuses 6 months after hire date for Applicants that are currently certified in:

• First Aid/CPR ($50/each maximum $100.00)
• Med Admin (Delegated Nursing) $200.00
• STNA/CNA $100.00
• PATH CERTIFICATION: CIP $250.00
• PATH CERTIFICATION: CAP $500.00
• Post High School Degrees/Advanced certifications $250.00

Previous experience preferred, but not required.
