PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Primary Function: 

Responsible for the overall leadership and direction to no fewer than six (6) Home Managers in the provision of services and support to clients with developmental disabilities living in residential settings, semi-independently or independently to their assigned caseload. This position reports to the Executive Director. 

Description of Responsibilities: 

Monitors caseload for daily provision of services for quality and delivery, ensuring client needs are met with respect to health, safety, rights and all rules of ODDO. Provides leadership and direction in identifying, coordinating and utilizing various services and resources to meet client needs and to solve problems. Hires, supervises, coordinates, trains and develops Home Managers. Provides leadership and direction in all aspects of program staffing. Administers agency personnel and operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Develops and maintains positive relationships and communications with clients, families/guardians, county service and support administrators, all staff and management team. Regularly attends various meeting, both internal and external. Directs and ensures the completion and maintenance of all reporting and documentation processes. Provides leadership and direction in managing client finances, program fund expenditures and program budgets. Provides leadership and direction in the implementation of systems that ensure cleanliness, appearance, maintenance, organization and safety of homes and program vehicles. Provides leadership and direction in managing leases, utilities and other household services. Participates in strategic leadership and long term planning sessions with the agency. Performs other related duties as required and/or assigned. 

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Other Requirements:

Physical: may include but not limited to, the ability to move from one work location to another and mobility within the facility/campus; the ability to position self to assist client's needs and the ability to remain in a stationary position. 

Mental: the ability to concentrate, take initiative, cope with stress, manage multiple tasks, prioritize, strategize, use independent judgement to accomplish results, maintain composure in all communications.
