Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Remote Support Professional Manager to oversee a team of remote support professionals providing assistance to adults with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of remote support services, managing and supporting the remote support team, and maintaining a high standard of care for individuals with disabilities. As a Remote Support Professional Manager, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities by delivering effective remote support services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management:

    • Lead, manage, and provide guidance to a team of remote support professionals.
      Recruit, train, and onboard new remote support professionals.
      Schedule and assign remote support staff to ensure adequate coverage for individuals with developmental disabilities.
      Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and coaching to the remote support team.

    Remote Support Service Delivery:

    • Develop and implement remote support service plans based on individual needs and goals.

      Collaborate with individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and support teams to assess needs and develop appropriate remote support strategies.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of remote support services provided.
      Prepare reports on remote support service delivery, including progress, outcomes, and any concerns or incidents.
      Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting requirements set by regulatory agencies and funding sources.

    Training and Development:

    • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for remote support professionals.
      Stay up-to-date with best practices, regulations, and advancements in the field of developmental disabilities to ensure the provision of high-quality remote support services.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including case managers, supervisors, and administrative staff, to coordinate and integrate remote support services with other programs and supports.
      Maintain open and regular communication with individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and other stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and foster positive relationships.

Requirements:


  • Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by adults with developmental disabilities.
